    CITIZEN PARK SURVEY

    The City of Wellington has the intention of applying for an Outdoor Recreation Grant from Texas Parks and Wildlife. The intent of this survey is to develop a strategy for better serving the recreational needs of city residents. The plan will also be an essential element in the City’s overall efforts to obtain the funding necessary to implement that strategy.

    Listed below is a general selection of facilities that could be part of future parks or improvements to existing facilities. This is not an all-inclusive list of possibilities. The City is now seeking citizen input as to how these facilities should be prioritized.  

    To help identify the plan’s short-term objectives, please select five of the following facilities and rank them numerically by order of importance to you. For example, if you feel the most important item listed is the “Small tot & early middle school equipment”, place the number “1” on the line to the right of the item. If you feel the “Walking Trail” is the next item of priority, write “2” next to that item. Continue doing so until you have ranked a total of five items. 

    When you have completed this form, please click SUBMIT and the results will be emailed to the Collingsworth County Chamber of Commerce and submitted to the City Hall.  ​
